You can get one report free from each of the three credit reporting companies, though a credit score will cost extra.

I've also heard that identity thieves use the Social Security numbers of kids, and that the kids generally don't find out until they apply for a college loan many years later. You cannot run a credit check on a child through the FTC web site; you have to write to the credit reporting companies separately. (I know, because I tried.)Isophoronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08941512224577901986noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1507681738351881728.post-54527591664672680372008-04-29T23:00:00.000-04:002008-04-29T23:00:00.000-04:00Naomi - I'm pissed for you!!!So sorry 2 hear that ...Naomi -
I'm pissed for you!!!
So sorry 2 hear that you have to deal with such crap-olla.
Positive vibes your ways sister!
Kellyk2https://www.blogger.com/profile/04167099133092135850noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1507681738351881728.post-52250584455619757112008-04-29T16:15:00.000-04:002008-04-29T16:15:00.000-04:00Wow. Whenever my mom is on the phone and someone asks for any personal information, I always ask her how she can be sure it's the real deal. It's so crazy what people can do with seemingly insignificant information. I hope this gets straightened out very quickly!Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17009303866200298151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1507681738351881728.post-70959575484177366432008-04-29T10:13:00.000-04:002008-04-29T10:13:00.000-04:00Oh, Naomi, I'm so sorry.
